Skincare: Innisfree | Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask
I'm back for another blogpost this week lovelies, it's Thursday and will be another weekend for the month of May. How are things going for you so far? The weather in the south of France is getting better, I'm so excited for summer to come! Anyway, for today's post, I will be reviewing this product that I've been meaning to share with you since the start of the year. However, I've been trying a lot of products lately that I completely forgot about it. It's never too late like they say, so here's my review. Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask This facial mask is from the brand Innisfree. Innisfree is a Korean brand who create their products from natural ingredients. They claim to be the first natural brand in Korea. They also use eco-friendly containers and harvest their ingredients in Jeju island, hence, the name of the product I'm about to review. I've been hearing lots of good reviews about Korean skincare products, I have a friend that swears by them. Curious and wanting to try some for myself, I turned to Amazon and found Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask. For the price, it didn't bother me that much, personally I think it's the right price point for a facial mask. Ingredients :

Is it what it claims to be ? Removes sebum I can't really say since I'm not that oily, I have a combination type of skin and if I do have some excess sebum, I didn't really notice any changes when I was using this facial mask. Brightens Skin This statement might somewhat true, after using this, my skin feels clear and bright, though, that it is not permanent ... Moisturizing Sad to say, in my case this wasn't hydrating, during the times I was using this, I was thankful that I had to apply facial cream afrerwards, because my skin felt dry and tight. Treats blemishes Absolutely not! (personally). I have no idea why but ever since I started using this I started having small breakouts, all over my forehead and cheeks. It was not that visible but still when I look up close, they're there. It didn't help soothe the redness I have around my nose as well. Final words I'm kind of sad and guilty to give such a bad review about this product, even though I thought I was going to love it. You guys know how I'm obsessed about natural and organic brands, but I guess this one just didn't work out for me. I sincerely wanted to order other facial masks or skincare products from Innisfree but to my disappointment, the shipment to price is almost half the price of my estimated order... And frankly that's discouraging. Anyway I'm not giving up on the brand, if I have a chance to try the others, I'd be glad to! Do you know this brand or this particular product ? De retour pour un nouvel article cette semaine, c'est jeudi et un autre weekend pour le mois de Mai va bientôt se présenter. Comment va votre "printemps" ? (et oui, parce que pour moi ce n'est pas encire tout à fait le printemps avec une météo très changeante ces derniers temps ...). Ici dans le sud, cette semaine il a fait un peu chaud, mais ça n'a pas duré longtemps ... j'ai tellement hâte que l'été arrive, un minimum de chaleur quoi!En ce qui concerne l'article d'aujourd'hui, je vais partager avec vous mes impressions sur un produit cosmétique (comme d'habitude). cela fait longtemps que je voulais le faire, mais je suis en train d'essayer tellement de choses que j'ai oublié! Bon, on dit que "vaut mieux tard que jamais".
Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask
Ce masque pour le visage est par la marque Innisfree. Je ne sais pas si vous connaissez mais c'est une marque de cosmétiques coréennes utilisant des ingrédients naturels pour fabriquer leurs produits. Ils prétendent être la première marque avec un tel principe en Corée (du Sud bien évidemment). Ils utilisent également des emballages écologiques pour leurs produits et ingrédients naturels issu de l'île de Jeju, comme le nom du produit en question.J'ai entendu beaucoup d'avis positifs sur les produits cosmétiques coréens, j'ai même une amie qui n'utilise que ces produits. J'étais donc curieuse de tester pour moi-même, réflexe, j'en ai cherché sur Amazon et suis tombée sur Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask (lien). Franchement, le prix ne m'a pas dérangé, c'est le bon prix pour un bon masque.

La vérité dans tout ça ...
Elimine le sébum Honnêtement, je ne peux pas vous donner une vraie réponse concernant ce critère puisque je n'ai pas une peau grasse mais plutôt une peau mixte. Disons que si j'ai du sébum en excès, je n'ai pas remarqué de changement quand j'utilisais ce masque. Illumine la complexion de peau Peut-être que c'est vrai, enfin en quelque sorte, ma peau était devenue claire mais ceci n'était pas permanent.. Hydratant Malheureusement, pour moi, ce n'était pas du tout le cas quand je me servais de ce masque. Heureusement qu'il me fallait appliquer de la crème hydratante après ce masque parce que sinon je sentais ma peau sèche et oppressée. Traite les imperfections Absolument pas (personnellement)! Je n'ai aucune idée pourquoi mais depuis que j'ai commencé à l'utiliser j'ai commencé à avoir des petits boutons blancs sur mon front et joues. Ce n'était pas très visible mais de près, ils sont là. J'avais/j'ai des rougeurs au niveau de nez et ceci n'a rien fait pour apaiser ce problème. Conclusion Je suis un peu triste et me sens même coupable de donner un retour négatif sur ce produit alors qu'au début je pensais que j'allais l'adorer. Vous savez tous comme je suis obsédée par les marques de cosmétiques naturels et bio, mais il faut avouer que cette marque n'a pas marché pour moi. Sincèrement, je voulais même essayer les autres masquent qu'ils vendent mais hélas, les frais de livraison s'équivaut à la moitié du montant de la commande que je voulais passer. Quand on voit ça, bien sûr qu'on hésite et ça décourage! en tout cas c'est ce qui s'est passé pour moi. Cela ne veut pas dire que j'ai rejeté la marque, je suis tout à fait partante pour essayer les autres produits si on me donne la chance, et j'en serai ravie!
