This Magical Lush Product
Okay maybe I was a bit exagerating when I came up with that title, but in some way I really thought that this was the ideal facial cream.
Before, I forget and get on with this review, maybe I should tell you the product name -- it's about the Magical Moringa facial moizturizer. One of the most expensive (but really worth it) facial creams that was created by Lush.
I may seem to have a divided opinion on this one so let's continue with the actual review.
Magical Moringa : Skin's food
I haven't made any review on facial moisturizers from Lush I noticed, but I have actually tested out, Imperialis and Celestial. I have no negative comments about these two products but I chose to discontinue using them simply because of my personal preferences. I found them too thick and too sticky for me, my skin type is combination by the way, so I definitely do not need that much of hydration. Well I do but not that kind of texture anyway.
I came across Magical Moringa by a sample I got once upon purchasing (that's how we discover other Lush's products .. you guys feel me right?), and guess what? It was just the facial cream I've been searching for; the fragrance, the texture and the effect it gives on your skin.

So as you can see, it's a salad of essential oils, that can only do good for your skin (in my honest and humble opinion).
For what you pay for, you get 75g of product, it's really worth every penny that you spent. Furthermore, this little pot can last up to a year or so, depending how often and how much (product) you use (it).
I love you but ... I have to leave you kind of drama
Although, Magical Moringa has done me good for these past months, I have to say goodbye to it. I didn't even have the chance to finish the pot. I think the only negative thing I found when using it, and which actually made me stop its use is it's texture. I'm not able to tell you why it turned out as such, it may be because of the weather or the humidity of the storage (I live in the south of France just so you know) but the it's has become totally impossible to apply the product on my face as it's grainy. It was like applying sand on your face withouth the roughness. I think if I had tried melting some of the product it would have work, but sometimes I don't have the time to do that, and even though I'm a patient person, I honestly consider doing that as a hassle.
Alternatives alert : Since I still have some product left, I decided to test out something, turns out Magical Moringa makes a good primer, it evens out your skin and has a matte finish. I use it to blend my foundation, concealer & contour as well. Just because of this, I think I'd repurchase it.
Yay or Nay then?
I would gladly recommend this product if you are living in the warm region of the Earth but, if you have cold season like in France .. probably buy another cream for winter and resume using it when the temperature rises up again.
Do some of you own this product? If you do, could you tell me if I mistreated it in any possible way for the consistency to become grainy like that?
Bon peut-être que j'ai un peu exagéré au niveau du titre, mais en quelque sorte je pense vraiment que c'était la crème idéale.
Avant que j'oublie il va falloir peut-être que je vous donne le nom du produit -- c'est à propos de Magical Moringa, un soin hydratant pour le visage par Lush. C'est l'un des produits les plus chers de la gamme (mais qui vaut le coup).
Magical Moringa : Essentiel pour la peau
Je n'ai jamais donné mes impressions sur les soins hydratants de Lush il me semble, mais j'avais essayé Imperialis et Buvard. Je n'ai pas d'avis négatifs sur ces deux-là mais j'ai préféré arrêter de les utiliser, pour une simple raison personnelle. Bien sûr j'ai mes préférences quant aux crèmes pour le visage, je n'aime pas quand la texture est trop épaisse et collante.
J'ai connu Magical Moringa par un échantillon que j'ai eu quand j'ai fait mes achats (on connaît les produits de Lush de telle manière n'est-ce pas?) puis, par miracle c'était le soin hydratant que je cherchais depuis longtemps, tout y est: l'odeur, la texture parfaite et l'effet désiré sur la peau.

Comme vous le voyez, c'est tout simplement une salade d'huiles essentielles, qui ne feront que du bien sur votre peau (enfin, c'est mon avis, après si vous dîtes le contraire ... c'est votre avis à vous).
Pour ce que vous payez, vous avez 75g de produits, et je pense que ça vaut vraiment le coup pour les 50€ que vous lâchez. De plus, ce pot peut tenir jusqu'à un an ou plus, cela dépend de vos habitudes bien évidemment.
Le drame de ... "je t'aime mais je dois te laisser"
Malgré le bien qu'il m'a apporté pendant ces derniers mois, je dois le laisser tomber. Je n'ai même pas pu finir le pot. Je pense que le seul côté négatif que j'ai trouvé en utilisant ce produit, et qui m'a pousser à l'arrêter ... c'est que la texture est devenue tellement granuleuse qu'il m'est impossible de l'appliquer. Et oui carrément! C'était comme si j'appliquais du sable sur mon visage (sans la rugosité) et que ça ne tient pas. Pour l'explication, je ne suis pas trop sûre non plus! Mais je pense que c'est la température dans le sud de la France .. Le seul moyen d'avoir la texture de base c'est de le réchauffer, et franchement, même si je suis patiente, je ne peux pas me permettre de le faire tout le temps.
J'ai trouvé un autre moyen de finir le pot par contre, j'ai voulu faire une expérience et j'ai fait une découverte. Magical Moringa fait une base matifiante parfaite pour votre maquillage, je l'utilise aussi pour estomper mon fond de teint, correcteur de teint ainsi que le contouring. Testez et dîtes-moi ce que vous en pensez. Personnellement, je rachèterai ce produit rien que pour cette raison.
Et donc?
Je recommande avec les yeux fermés ce produit si vous habitez les régions chaudes de la terre mais si vous avez une saison d'hiver là où vous habitez, je vous conseille d'utiliser une autre crème, parce que Magical Moringa dort quand il fait froid!
